Firebird Post-Show Workshop with
Dance Theatre of Harlem
Registration is open for a new workshop offering with Dance Theatre of Harlem, taking place after the Student Matinee performance.
In celebration of Dance Theatre of Harlem’s triumphant return of Firebird, the company’s groundbreaking reimagining of Igor Stravinsky’s classic tale of love, magic, and transformation—set vibrantly in the Caribbean with Geoffrey Holder’s dazzling sets and costumes—Dancing Through Barriers invites educators, students, and dance enthusiasts to experience the world of Firebird through an immersive movement workshop.
This single-session, post-matinee workshop, taught by DTH teaching artists, incorporates the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) Dance Frameworks to discover how dance can serve as a tool for creative learning, cultural exploration, and self-expression. Open to learners of all levels!
Workshop Dates:
April 20 - May 7
Pricing:
$200 per classroom |
